Meziměstí

Town near the state border with Poland. First mentioned in the year 1408. It was called Dolní and Mesnší Vižňov, later Halbstadt. You can see there the Baroque chateau from the year 1650, rebuilt by K. I. Dienzenhofer in the year 1749. The chateau was used as the summer residence of Broumov´s abbot. In the town there is also the border crossing.
